I have replaced the old wheel and tire assembly with the new wheel and tire assembly NSN 2530-01-611-7619 in accordance with TACOMS Control No. MA 13-040 Split Ring Wheel Assembly replacement. I have done the replacement on an M149A2 Water Buffalo. When the replacement was done the new Assembly sticks out around 4" beyond the fenders. Am I missing something here? I have attached the picture for a view of what I am talking about. I have called TACOM's Maintenance System Manager and still no call back. Just seeing if anyone else has ran into a similar issue. I appreciate all positive feedback. Yes, I made sure they were not installed backwards.
