I have a HEMTTA4 fueler that the high idler is not working on. I have went over the electrical schematics tracing and testing components concerning the high idle. Here is what I know
* From the high idle switch to the Engine ECU is working. By using the CAT ET software I was able to see the ECU received the message that I was either turning the high idle switch on/off.
* When I kick the hydraulic PTO and the high idle switch to on and manually bring the RPM's up to 15000, the PTO work. To test that the PTO is working, I had a fueler set the truck up to recirculate and it worked.
So I am trying to figure out what I am missing because everything from the switch to the ECU works and when manually controlled in regards to RPM's the PTO to the fuel pump works. I am thinking the ECU might be faulty, because I am thinking the ECU controls the engine in regard to when to increase RPM's Please let me know if someone can help.
Thank You
